Why I Won’t Use St. Ives Apricot Face Wash Again

Dear St. Ives Apricot Scrub,

We need to talk. We’ve been together for a long time. From my high school days through my mid-twenties. But. I’ve met someone else.

I’m ashamed to say I’m pretty sure you know each other. I met St. Ives Green Tea Scrub, aka GTS, in the aisle of CVS (I know, meeting in a drug store is so cliche) and we’ve been inseparable since. Here’s the thing. GTS exfoliates my face, like you did, but in a way that’s gentle. GTS’ formula is smooth and inviting, and the smell. Oh the smell. I’m pretty sure it’s what heaven smells like.

Let’s just say, I look forward to washing my face now, instead of laying in bed and pleading with myself to get up and take my makeup off.

We all change, our skin changes… and our needs change, too.

I hope you’ll understand.

Sincerely,

Ashleysita
